Confidence Tips for Women With Bladder Issues

Daisy · September 30, 2021 · Leave a Comment

Bladder control issues can lead to embarrassing leaks and accidents that can wreck a woman’s confidence. Many medical problems may lead to bladder control problems, and it is essential to talk to your doctor about the issues you are experiencing. Unfortunately, bladder control issues often come with age and many women think there is nothing they can do about the situation. However, there are things women can do to feel more confident with bladder issues.

1. Get the right underwear.

There is underwear for women that can make bladder issues less of a problem. Just like period underwear, women can buy super-absorbent underwear designed to trap leaks and minor accidents without looking like they are wearing a diaper. Wearing panties that are protective and comfortable will make you feel more secure.

You can also have an extra pair in your bag or your car just in case you need them. This will reduce or eliminate the need for pads that can be uncomfortable and don’t always help, depending on the size of the accident. You can also find specialty panties in different styles, so you aren’t stuck with full coverage panties. You can wear something that you feel sexy in like hipsters, bikinis, or boyshorts with maximum absorbency, which will also boost confidence.

2. Take supplements.

Leading Edge Health offers a daily supplement called Confitrol24 to reduce incontinence, leaks, and accidents. Dietary supplements are not like pain killers that work instantly, and they have to build up in your system over time and be taken daily to remain in your system. They should be treated like a vitamin, opposed to medicine. It is essential to let your doctor know if you are taking a dietary supplement to ensure it isn’t working against any medication you may be taking. Even if the supplement doesn’t eliminate the problem, it can significantly reduce it, which will boost confidence.

3. Talk to your doctor.

Some conditions that cause bladder issues can be corrected, so it is essential to talk to your doctor. Often women assume that leaks and accidents are a part of aging, or they may be too embarrassed to bring it to their doctor. However, if there is a simple fix for the problem, you can alleviate the problem altogether. For many women, the problem can be corrected with surgery, medication, or special exercises. Your doctor can determine the source of the problem and then explain your medical options. Eliminating the situation will undoubtedly boost confidence.

4. Be prepared for accidents.

Being prepared is a simple step that can boost your confidence. If you had children, you likely carried extra clothes around with you in case of an accident or emergency. Although you didn’t always need the spare clothes, you felt more confident knowing you had them, so you didn’t worry about your baby throwing up all over you or having a diaper blowout.

If you’re worried about a leak or accident, carry a change of clothes with you in your vehicle. That way, if you need to change, you have that option, opposed to just having to leave a gathering or event. If anyone asks why you changed, you can say you spilled something on yourself and laugh it off.

Confidence can make a huge difference in a person’s life, so anything that boosts confidence is essential. Bladder control issues are embarrassing and uncomfortable, and it makes sense that dealing with bladder control problems may diminish a woman’s confidence. Hopefully, these tips will relieve the problems and provide the confidence boost needed to feel beautiful and good about being a woman.
